Play World Eternal Online’s open alpha

World Eternal Online is out in open alpha, which means players can sign up and jump in right now. It’s an easy, no hassle process.

As a top-down RPG with ability mechanics similar to League of Legends, I found it engaging and rewarding to kill the mobs of demonic creatures roaming Lands Beyond on World Eternal’s planet Althea.

This evil horde hasn’t been seen on Althea for 10,000 years, so the lore goes.

“Legend has it that the last time the demons attacked, they were defeated by an unprecedented alliance of five factions of heroes,” reads the game description.

Outside of the demon-hero premise, the game lacks a strong storyline and so it can feel empty to play. Even after rising up a few levels, as I did, it’s still a little dull.

I only played by myself and maybe when playing with others it can be more fun – a casual co-op game that helps onboard web2 players into web3.

The game, from start-up Core Loop, also released its cinematic trailer on Thursday and I’d be lying if I said I didn’t feel a round of Frozen’s Let It Go coming on as I watched. You can take a look here.
